Spay/neuter/release programs throughout the world are an essential solution for the millions of street dogs suffering and causing human suffering. Although there are many information sources on how to conduct sterilization programs, there is little information on how to humanely gather the dogs for these programs. GWR is striving to make an every growing library on humane and ethical feral dog capture, handling, and transport methods and to make these available through our website, books, videos and translated material.

The Feral Dog Capture Library page is under an on going construction.

GWR is dedicated to see that every shelter in North America is aware of this valuable tool for handling fractious dogs. It is a safe, effective, and caring tool when used with compassionate dominance. GWR predicts that the Y pole can replace 75% use of the less humane snare pole. To accomplish our goal we are providing educational materials in the Feral Dog Library and our Y Pole page, producing a Y pole training video, and describing how the Y pole can be purchased or made.
